I named this blog "Vita Abundantior" which is Latin for "Life More Abundant." It's the motto of my beloved college, Randolph-Macon Woman's College and I thought it would be appropriate since I plan to blog about my many different interests - cooking, decorating, crafts, running, travel and just life in general.

Patrick and I took the Wilton class when we lived in Seattle. Patrick made a puking clown cake. I don't think the instructor was amused. Hopefully your instructor won't be as creepy as ours was. You will be very tired of eating cake by the time the class is over. . . Have fun!!
I was thinking about doing that... if only you still lived here we could do it together. ugh. I have been thinking that with all the "themed" birthday parties in my child's future that it would probably be cheaper if I could make the cakes myself. You will have to let me know how it goes.
